Waiver and Incident forms: All participants must sign a waiver form BEFORE they ride on the property. There are two forms, Child and Adult (please sign the appropriate form). They are located in the blue folder in the indoor arena shed on the table.  Please also find incident forms that need to be filled out in the event of an injury. You must also inform Cromwell Park Management if there has been an incident - Mandy 0416 628 794

Payment: 

Indoor Arena:       

$35 per horse/hr

$8/hr lights/power 

Outdoor Show Jump Arena:     

$25 per horse/hr

Outdoor Dressage Arena:

$20 per horse/hr

18m Diameter Round Yard

Wooden Yards:

$10 day - $15 overnight

Payments are to be put in an envelope which are located in the blue folder in indoor arena shed, please write your name on the envelope. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that additional riders also place their money in the envelope. Then place envelope in mail box. Payment for use of the arena is on a trust basis, please be honest about your use and pay for what you’ve used. Any person found to be dishonest with payment will not be invited to return.

Lunging: NO lunging or jumping in the indoor arena permitted. All horses must be restrained at all times, no off lead ground work is permitted.

NO lunging in SJ and outdoor dressage arena. If you need to lunge your horse please use round yard located behind indoor arena.

Dogs: NO dogs permitted on the property.

Clean Up: All manure and hay must be picked up in the indoor/outdoor arenas as well as float parking or the hirer will incur a cleaning cost. Manure must be placed in the wheelbarrows supplied. If hiring a yard all manure must be cleaned and placed in wheelbarrow supplied.

Hose: You are more than welcome to use the hose to RINSE your horse but please do not wash your horse here, please do it at home. 

Children: Children under 12 years of age must be supervised at all times by a non riding adult.

Children may only be left in charge of horses and ponies where adult supervision and assistance is immediately on hand.

Smoking: Cromwell Park is a smoke free zone. 

Horse preparation: Horses must not be hard tied to any fixed structure around the property; Horses may be tied only to those areas where twine has been provided for the purpose.

Horses waiting to use the arena must remain outside the arena until the previous horse has left the arena unless instructed otherwise by your instructor.

Riding Lessons/Clinics: All instructors/ Clubs must provide a copy of their liability insurance  prior to teaching. These can be emailed to cromwellpark@mail.com

Before all clinics are considered confirmed a $200 deposit must be paid. If deposit not paid within 1 week of booking, that date will be given to another party on the waiting list.

$100 to hold booking (will be deducted from clinic total fee)

$100 cleaning deposit which will be reimbursed in full if ALL manure, hay and rubbish has been cleaned up and property left as clean as before hire. 

30 days notice of cancellation in writing must be given to Cromwell Park to avoid loss of clinic deposit ($100)

Current approved riding helmets must be worn at all times whilst mounted. Helmets should be no more than 5 years old and should not have been involved in any falls or impacts.

Closed, smooth soled boots with a heel must be worn whilst riding or handling horses.

NO RUNNERS/SNEAKERS for mounted riders. We recommend closed sensible shoes be worn by all people entering the property and take no responsibility for injuries or accidents caused by inappropriate footwear e.g. thongs.

Tack and horse apparel must be in good working order, be well fitting and be free from damage. Instructors should check the gear of their clients prior to lessons.

No more than 6 horses in the arena at one time for riding, and no more than 8 for groundwork.

Sitting on or climbing over any gates, fences or the indoor arena is not permitted.

Maximum speed on the property is 15km/hr

Cancellations (Casual/Private): 24 hour notice is to be given by the person who booked arena to avoid being charged the full amount of the hire period (minus lights).
